Anneliese was only six years old when her mother was murdered by her father's family believing that if they’d gotten rid of the stain on the family, he’d return to them. As teens, her parents ran off together to start a life of their own when their parents refused to acknowledge their love. Her father had an arranged marriage and his family had never gotten over him running off to be with the woman he loved. Sutton had no immediate family and Blake had joined the Marines to provide for his wife. Soon after their marriage they had their eldest son Nathaniel and several years later they had Anneliese, but while Blake was deployed Sutton had a freak car accident and left the children motherless and their father distraught.
Once more death would strike when Angel was elven, this time her father. Nathaniel was hardly stable enough to take responsibility, So he did the logical thing and enlisted. She begged him not to leave her, not to leave to join the same career that led to their father's death but he didn’t listen. When Angel turned seventeen she graduated early and planned to go off to college but fate had another plan. That same year her brother lost his life and Angel began pouring her all into her schooling.
Applying for college she hoped it would keep her mind off the loss of her family and for sometime she had been happy. Even eloping two years ago. With everything she had already been through Angel could not imagine it getting worse, but her two years of marriage taught her never to estimate how bad life could get. She recently ran as far as she could but she was carrying the weight of his sins right underneath her t-shirt. After her son was born she believed she was finally at peace but her husband had found her again. Finally accepting the fact that she needed help she reached out to the one group of people she knew could help her. And thank the heavens they did.
